Purpose
We want our efforts to help children not just temporarily, but enduringly, by giving them the tools to dream and their families the resources to realize those dreams.

Our Mission:
The Eisner Foundation exists to provide access and opportunity for disadvantaged children and the aging of Los Angeles County.
Our Interests:
The Eisner Foundation has been funding innovative and effective non-profit organizations that improve and enrich the lives of underserved children in Southern California since 1996. In 2008, we recognized that many of the same attributes that the children we serve unfortunately possess—physical and emotional vulnerability, extreme poverty, lack of advocacy on their behalf, minimal access to the arts, and general powerlessness—also applied to many members of our rapidly aging population in the community. We thus elected to broaden our funding focus to include those at both ends of the spectrum of life, the young and the old. Today, we are dedicated to bringing about lasting changes in the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people starting and ending their lives in Los Angeles County.
